Once fire appears to be out:
Master switch ON
Circuit Breakers CHECK for fault,
do not reset
Radio Switches ALL OFF
Avionics ON
Switches ON one at a time,
delaying after each until fault found
Vents OPEN
after fire completely out
ENGINE FIRE DURING START
KEEP CRANKING
If start, run several minutes,
shut down, INSPECT
If no start:
KEEP CRANKING
Throttle FULL OPEN
Mixture KILL
Engine SECURE:
Ignition OFF
Master OFF
Fuel selector OFF
RUN AWAY
ELECTRICAL FAILURE
Avionics OFF
Alternator Circuit Breaker CYCLE
Master Switch CYCLE
Ammeter CHECK
Avionics ON
If Problem persists:
Alternator Circuit Breaker OFF
Nonessential Equipment OFF
Land soon.
